School Reviews

Our son's experience at Center-Pepin has been almost entirely wonderful. His teachers have been excellent and communicative, he has made many friends and the school has an excellent interface with many of the local preschool/after-school day cares that are essential in this primarily working-class community (our son's, Our Lady, is wonderful as well and has been invaluable and extremely convenient to both the school and our work/home). The school has some administrative challenges and faces a lot of budget pressures thanks to charter schools and school of choice draining their funds away, but the community it fosters is full of real, genuine parents who all love their kids and teachers who love them too. A great place to send your kid, and don't let anybody tell you different.

Initial impression of school was great until third week in and teachers expectations are ridiculous of out children. Apparently children are not meant to be kids but miniature adults. Substitute called child stupid and that said child knows nothing. Child just turned five. Giving kids great perspective on the world outside of the home. Bullying is also acceptable as they do not hold bullies accountable.
