NAMPA — Emergency crews that responded to a reported fire at Nampa's Idaho Arts Charter School found no evidence of a fire. About 12:30 p.m., dispatchers sent crews to the school, located near the corner of 5th Street North and 11th Avenue in Nampa, and said flames and smoke were visible from the west side of the building. - Idaho schools show improvement (Idaho Press-Tribune)

CANYON COUNTY — Two-thirds of Idaho public schools met statewide student achievement goals this year, up from just one-fourth of Idaho schools two years ago.
