• A Black Friday gift auction hosted by the Cassville Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will be held Nov. 27 at the Miller fire station, 785 Miller Ave., Jackson. Alot of buckets are being filled at the New Egypt Primary School in Plumsted these days. Mike Fassl, who is about to start his senior year at New Egypt High School, Plumsted, snapped out of his quiet, injury-marred junior year with a bang last month when he won the Eastern League All-Star Game Home Run Derby.
