Mrs. Gran, 80, of the Lake Nelson section of Piscataway, died Aug. 30, 2009. Prior to her retirement, she was a special-education teacher in Irvington and Piscataway. Her husband, Howard, died in 2002, and a daughter, Martha Woodruff, died in 2005. Surviving are two daughters, Abby Christensen of Costa Mesa, Calif. - Teacher held on drug suspicion (Daily Pilot)
