    Being a board member is a thankless job. I would like to sincerely thank the Curtis Creek School District trustees. As I sat in the audience at Monday night’s board meeting (March 30), I was horrified. Many people do not realize the work board members put in.

    Tioga High School point guard Billy Hilton canned nine of 13 shots, scored 22 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out three assists Wednesday night. And then there was a second half. Led by the 6-foot-5 Hilton — who currently leads the entire Sac-Joaquin section in assists — Tioga defeated arch-rival Don Pedro 69-14 in Groveland.
