Lyon County, Ky., Coroner Ronnie Patton has identified an apparent drowning victim at Kentucky Lake as Bradley Staley, 21, of Norris City, Ill. Several relatives in Carmi and White County survive. Staley was a 2006 Norris City-Omaha-Enfield High School graduate and was serving in the U.S. military. A talented group of local men will close out the Night Under the Stars season as presented by the Carmi League of Arts when they perform some 50 minutes' worth of material at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the gazebo across from the Carmi Public Library. The event will move to First Baptist Church in the event of rain.
