Daniel Lee Roberson was born to the late Robert Lee and Mary Lena Roberson on Dec. 14, 1952 in Vidalia, Ga. He attended Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Fla. E. Pat Larkins, who was born in segregated Pompano Beach and eventually became its first black mayor, has died. He was 66. For the past 15 months, Larkins struggled with a stubborn brain tumor, his family said. He died Saturday, Valentine's Day.
