  The Broward school district is teaming up with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to make sure kids from low income families can still get a healthy breakfast and lunch over the summer. This year 39 select schools will serve free breakfasts and lunches during the months off June, July and August.

  Two Broward schools were temporarily placed on a precautionary lock down Tuesday after a violent fight broke out in the Ft. Lauderdale Swap Shop. Ft. Lauderdale police said it began when two men got in an argument with one of the flea market's vendors around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
