Accepted a $9,000 donation from Lowe's for an outdoor science lab at Boone Middle School. Approved construction of a new $44,000 track at Winter Haven High School.

    BARTOW | Polk County School Board members will discuss taking a 2 percent to 5 percent pay cut at the next School Board meeting in March. Board member Tim Harris brought up the idea of a 2 percent cut Tuesday during a work session meeting in Bartow.
