Many young girls are getting a second chance at life thanks to the PACE Center for Girls. The Pensacola Pelicans are excited to announce a weekend celebrating the 40th anniversary of Woodstock beginning on Friday, July 31, 2009 and ending on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Pelican Park. Friday, July 10th - Beach Towel Giveaway and Scoop's New Friend Introduction The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Pelicans Beach Towel, sponsored by Budweiser and WEAR. Last week state officials had a fit over a pile of pennies, and the School Board members decided to cut back on print-outs. Also, don't forget to reserve your spot at the PACE Center for Girls fundraiser luncheon.
