      Tanita Peak, a fourth grade teacher at Brooklet Elementary School, was named Friday the 2010 Bulloch County School System’s Teacher of the Year. Peak learned of her selection Friday morning when Superintendent Lewis Holloway and administrators surprised her in her classroom.

      At William James Middle School, everyone knows to look out for “Miss Pat.” Students and teachers alike know that head custodian Patricia Allen is very protective of “her school.”     After all, she's been at William James for 19 years.
