  Though often underappreciated, and sometimes ignored completely, special teams can be the difference between a win on Friday nights and a loss. Nobody knows that better of late than the Windsor Forest High School football squad. In the past two weeks, the Knights have won by scores of 10-9 and 10-6. In each case, the margin of victory was provided by senior kicker Morgan Francisco.

  Savannah State football player Donnell Collins, a Windsor Forest High School graduate, has suffered a career-ending ankle injury, SSU head coach Robby Wells said.   Thursday afternoon, 53 exceptional teachers were recognized for their work in the classroom with a reception at the Savannah Morning News.  Out of the 53 teachers of the year, three were named finalists.

  There has been a change and an addition to SCCPSS School Attendance Zone Planning Meetings. The meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 1 at Windsor Forest High School has been changed to Wednesday, September 30 from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m.
