  Adams Elementary School could have a new owner, as early as tonight. Sheridan Community Schools' board members will consider three proposals from bidders for the 1930-built historic brick three-story schoolhouse, including its classic gymnasium.

  The historic brick three-story schoolhouse, which will close at the end of the school year and was built in 1930, is for sale. Minimum bid is $4,500. The district based the value on the real estate market in Sheridan and the lack of any demand for property such as this, said Sheridan Schools Superintendent Derek Arrowood.
