Retired General and Forum columnist John Carlson will be the guest speaker at the Braintree Department of Veterans’ Services’s annual Pearl Harbor Day remembrance ceremony. This event in honor of those who lost their lives on what President Franklin D. It wasn’t that long ago that Milton High School was dominating the annual Thanksgiving Day football match up with archrival Braintree High School. It has been a busy season for Braintree High School’s Matt Anson. School officials are gearing up to vaccinate students against the H1N1 (or swine flu) virus. It was just three weeks ago that a relatively healthy Braintree High School football team sported a .500 record with all four games decided by seven points or less. The Wamps, after four consecutive 5-6 seasons, were in the hunt for the school’s first winning record since 2004. Now, that seems like it was years ago rather than weeks ago.
