An Alma Middle School student will represent Crawford County at the Arkansas Scripps Spelling Bee Feb. 28 in Little Rock. After about an hour of competition Saturday, 14-year-old Kayla Fercho bested thirty-six other competitors to claim the title of top speller in the county.
