    Coming off a 23-21 loss to California in the game's final minute, Arizona State welcomes the 12th ranked USC Trojans to Tempe on Saturday, November 7 at Sun Devil Stadium. The ASU defense held Cal to only 57 yards rushing, but a field goal with 21 seconds left was the difference in the game. ASU is now 4-4, 2-3 in Pac-10 play. USC is 6-2, 3-2 after falling 47-20 to Oregon in Eugene.

The Sun Devils fell behind 24-0 at half against the Cardinal and could not come back, falling to 4-3 on the year, 2-2 in Pac-10 play. Cal is now 5-2, 2-2 in conference play following their 49-17 win over Washington State in Berkeley.
