    The Central Elementary School PTA Holiday Bazaar is set for 7-9:30 p.m. Dec. 3 in the cafetorium at the school, 371 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Admission to the event is free of charge. All proceeds will be used to fund cultural-arts assemblies for students attending Central School.

    Mitchell Brown and his family are waiting for someone to step forward and help save his life. The 32-year-old East Brunswick resident, who was diagnosed with a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in April, is looking for a donor and as such is asking anyone eligible to get tested to see if he or she is enough of a DNA match to be a blood stem cell donor.

    Boy Scout Troop No. 61 will hold a Recruiting Night 7:30-8:30 p.m. May 18 at Central Elementary School, 371 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Boys in fifth grade and up are invited to attend with a parent. Meeting topic will be "Swimming and Water Safety." Upcoming Scout trips will include rafting and camping on the Delaware River.
