NORTH BRUNSWICK — Residents of Carpenter Road, Grissom Avenue, Shepard Avenue, Curie Road and Linwood Place gathered together on Saturday for a community block party. Brunswick Church of Christ, 505 Milltown Road, North Brunswick, will hold a free giveaway 11 a.m.-2 p.m. July 11 at North Brunswick Senior Center, 15 Linwood Place. The giveaway is the church's way of giving back to the community. NORTH BRUNSWICK — The student council at Livingston Park Elementary School has raised $1,250 in support of the World Vision organization. NORTH BRUNSWICK — Friends of a sixth-grade student whose family lost everything in a house fire on May 3 are summoning the community to help out. The Carpenter Road home of Linwood Middle School student L.J. New Jersey Blood Services will hold a blood drive 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Livingston Park Elementary School, Livingston and Ridgewood Avenues, North Brunswick. A drive will also be 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Mason's Union Lodge, 60 Cedar Ave., North Brunswick. Both drives are March 21.
