Master Sargent Barbara Jo Shipp retired from the USAF Feb. 7. Barbara served 29 years in various capacities associated in top military aircraft throughout the United States and abroad. She is a graduate of Freeport High School, and currently resides in Chesapeake, Va. Frances Ammons has made her home in Freeport for many years.
