  ALLEGANY - The mood for the 62nd Annual Times Herald Big 30 Football Testimonial was set two weeks ago when long-time Hinsdale Central School coach Rod Rohl passed away after battling a myriad of ailments since collapsing in June while playing golf at Waterway Hills with assistant coach and long-time friend Mike Ozogar.

  As I begin trying to collect my thoughts and organizing the path for this story, I can’t help but feel how precious life is. It was just nine days ago, Oct. 25, that I took a few brief moments from my day to visit Rod Rohl.

  Men's soccer assistant coach Mike Martel is a busy man. An Olean native and St. Bonaventure alum, Martel is a graduate assistant enrolled in the Educational Leadership Program. He also teaches full time in the Hinsdale Central School District. "It's pretty busy in the fall," Martel said.
