Interstate 684: Troopers from the Somers barracks issued 60 tickets Wednesday during a six-hour seat-belt enforcement held on highway exit ramps here and in Lewisboro, state police said. No more hoops After more than 20 years of pickup basketball at South Park Elementary, the game is over. The doors are closed, the lights are out, the gym is empty. Richard R. (Dick) Purdy, of Essex Meadows, beloved husband of 59 years to Evelyn R. Purdy, died on Aug. 8.
