Norman A. Schell, 93, a retired railroad worker who was an avid baseball player and a green-thumb gardener for many years, died Sunday in his home in Maumee. Oak Harbor High School’s football team rallied, then faded, in a 41-21 loss in heavy ran at Arlington Friday. The Wildcats’ playoff hopes took a big hit with the loss. Oak Harbor is now 1-3 in league play, 2-5 overall. Arlington moved ahead of the ‘Cats with a 2-2 Wesco North record, 3-4 overall.
