  A city woman is accused of striking a boy while breaking up a fight on Feb. 26 at South Wayne Elementary School. Maria L. Williams, 34, was arrested and charged Wednesday with battery and is free on a $2,500 bond. The boy received a scratch on his chin, according to Williams' arrest affidavit written by the boy's mother, Iaisha Williams.
