DUARTE - Sun glare may have contributed to an accident in which a teen was hit by a car while walking to school Friday morning, authorities said. The 16-year-old boy was hit at about 7:50 a.m. as he walked through the intersection at Central and Duncannon avenues, near Duarte High School, officials from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Temple City Station said.
