Six athletes will be added to the Oxford Area High School's Sports Wall of Fame on Monday, Oct. 5. As part of its 2009 Summer Concert Series, the Chester County Pops Orchestra will return to Oxford Area High School for a performance on Wednesday, July 15 at 7 p.m., according to a press release. Work to convert the former Penn's Grove School building into the new Hopewell School for the Oxford Area School District's fifth and sixth graders is nearing completion in time for the first day of school on August 31. After several revisions, the Oxford Area School Board has approved a preliminary budget with a 3 percent increase in real estate taxes.The preliminary budget totals $56,865,607.
