Thomas S. Nielsen, a BYU freshman from Orem, passed away Sunday at the Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City. He is the son of Stevan Lars Nielsen and Dianne Nielsen, both BYU employees in the Counseling Center. Nielsen was 21 years old, and was diagnosed with Leukemia on his 14th birthday.
