  The Mercer Island High School girls soccer team lost to Columbia River, out of Vancouver, Wash. in the 3A girls soccer state championship game this afternoon. The game ended regulation time tied 1-1, and remained the same through two 5 minute overtime periods before heading into a shoot-out.
