KUNA -- We are celebrating our veterans today and saying 'thank you.' At Kuna High School, they are doing the same thing, but they did it one day early. The school held an assembly Tuesday, with the presentation of colors, national anthem, and a "missing man" table honoring our nation's POWs and MIAs. KUNA — Shooting hoops while riding donkeys may seem like a strange way to raise money, but to some, it sounds downright wrong. In response to animal cruelty concerns, the Kuna School District has canceled its Friday donkey basketball fundraiser and will instead play a traditional, animal-less game.
