I was a student that attended ASE and I must say, yes the school can be pretty chaotic at times considering it''s not exactly in the friendliest neighborhood, it however does give you lessons and provides cool business opportunities. The not so great side of it is that I would say it does baby the bad kids. What I mean by this is that when it comes to enforcement or punishment, don't seem to be very good at well except to the students with behavioral problems as they still do the same things and not much real trouble is given to them. Additionally, the have this protocol where if a student is being threatened or constantly harassed by others, instead of removing the bad kids from the school, they'll remove the good kid which is just really baffling to me because by doing this your making the school overall worse. Another thing I wished for while at the schools were more opportunities. No, the ones that were handed to use were ok, but as an ambitious business student I wanted more. I wanted more AP Class, more business trips, and more internships. I felt like there was so much more this school could give, but they were only giving us a little, as if we didn't have much potential. Now before I end this off, being at ASE was really an amazing time. Even though the school didn't do alot, they still tried their best to make it fun. Especially during the Holiday seasons, before we would do go break or have our holiday off from school, there would always be some type of event. Whether it be a party, feast, or staff just going around giving out candy. During our award ceremonies, students who won an award were always sure to win a round of applause and praise. We would also have school-wide field trips in the summer going to a park for the whole day and just relax or have fun. However, the thing I loved the most was the award trips. For instance, at the end of the year you had perfect attendance for the majority of the school you may have won a free trip to some place like Six Flags. I was amazing hope this review was helpful! My last piece of advice would be if you have a smart head on your shoulders and know how to stay out of trouble you will survive at this school.

I believe this is a very good school with teachers who care for and are committed to the students and their education. Even with an absence or a low score on tests, I was contacted by the teachers. Principal White is very involved and was very hands on and approachable. She was also open to suggestions. The students need to care about their education and parents need to be more involved and work in unison with the school. The Principal and faculty/staff should be commended for their hard work. Keep up the good work!
