- Marysville-Pilchuck High School, located in Marysville, Washington, USA, is a public secondary school for grades 9-12. It is a combined campus which contains five separate learning centers: However the local schools who tried this method of approaching a large population have canceled their programs due to not achieving the goals they were attended to and costing hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for added faculty including extra principals, secretaries, etc.

- The M-PHS has the second largest campus and the largest student body in the state of Washington. Its school mascot is a tomahawk and the school colors are red, white, black and gold. School days are organized into six periods. MPHS boasts the largest indoor swimming pool in Snohomish County, and is a popular destination for high school indoor water sports fans.
- MPHS is a combination of two local schools. The first high school in Marysville was called Marysville High School and it occupied the current Marysville Junior High School building (which is now Totem Middle School). Pilchuck High School was built in 1971 and later the two schools combined to make one large high school called Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

On March 21, 2008, the Everett Herald ran a story about the effects of the website on the community of Marysville-Pilchuck High School in the state of Washington. The story indicated that "students have used the site to bully, post compromising photos of their rivals and spread rumors about other kids' supposed sexual experiences, abortions, eating disorders, diseases and drug use." However, in the article, Bloch justified the site on the basis that " have no legal or ethical responsibility to protect kids by censoring gossip." Bloch also stated that if enough users complain about certain gossip it will be taken down, but that site staff would not remove gossip just because it may be a lie or may be hurtful. Currently (2007) construction is underway for a second high school in Marysville.
- MPHS still offers many classes that have been canceled by other schools, such as welding and auto shop classes. That is if you're in the right school. For instance the band program is offered only in pathways and due to misinformation given by the ISC the instrumental music program has deteriorted but is regaining public support as the teachers, counselors, parents, and general public want the smaller schools disbanded.
- The extracirricular activities range from anime club to french and gay-lesbian outreach club. All clubs from before the change to SLC's have complained about loss of funding and interest due to some SLC's discouraging inter-school mingling.
- Under the Learning Center approach to education, a student registers at one learning center and remains there for the school year. Each learning center has a set number of teachers and classes, with the Pathways of Choice being the largest, with 40 teachers compared to 12 in the others. The decision to move to learning centers remains controversial, with many students complaining that it restricts their options and the administrators insisting that it will result in a better focus on students' individual interests. Extracurriculars such as band and yearbook are being reconfigured to meet the requirements of the new configuration.

The International School of Communications (ISC) is a self-directed school at Marysville-Pilchuck. Many of the teachers there believe in the enGauge 21st century skills method. Instead of the typical 'sit down, read the chapter, do a worksheet, do a review, and then take a test' method used in a normal school, the ISC teachers allow students to it themselves. ISC offers several elective classes such as writing for publication, Latin, TV3 (video production) and choir. There are four houses in the ISC, Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta, each with house heads and prefects.

The BMA is an M-PHS learning center which emphasizes the study of mathematics and the sciences. A heavy emphasis is placed on rigorous college preparatory classes. Bio-med boasts the highest average GPA and test scores on campus. For the 2008-09 school year, BMA will have a dedicated computer laboratory.

The TTA contains two large vocational programs, automobile shop and wood shop. It also offers a beginning engineering and drafting (Autocad) program and a program aimed at students pursuing a career in education.
- Marching and Orchestral Band

The Marching Tommies have a long history of triumph and is the school's ambassador to other communities. They have competed at the Tumwater Band Festival for three years as of 2008 and their record is 3rd place in 2006, 8 of 8 in 2007 and 12 of 14 in 2008. The band has many soloists including Chris Wall (trombone 2004-2008), Christian Volkman (woodwinds 2004-2008) and James Ruesken (2005-2009). The band competes in parades regionally and last year won 1st place at Bellingham Ski to Sea parade, and Second Place at the Portland starlight parade, Marysville Strawberry Parade, and in 2007 won weepstakes at the New Westminster parade in Vancouver, BC.
- The drama club won "Best Pit Orchestra" by Fifth Avenue Theatre for "Into The Woods" the 2008 spring musical.

In 2005, 17-year-old Keito Swan was struck by a school bus while crossing 108th Street Northeast to Marysville-Pilchuck High School. Keito was dragged 100 feet and suffered a broken leg, fractured pelvis, and serious head injuries. His family filed a personal injury lawsuit against the school district claiming the stretch of road was not adequately lit and lacked school zone warnings. The family of the teenager has reached an $800,000 settlement with the school district.
