Looking at the statistics for income and revenue and school size, etc., you would think this is a great school but this year alone, my two students have had items stolen from them three times, they have been bullied and kept quiet for fear of reprisal, and from what I understand the teachers are unlikely to do anything about it anyway. They tell me that the teachers don't seem to care much. One teacher even accused my son of cheating with no proof and of course he did not cheat. The boys tell me that several of the teachers pay attention only to the athletes and jocks and couldn't care less about the others. As a parent, I can say that they are not big on parental involvement. I rarely receive any information on extracurricular activities, programs, or anything else unless something is wrong or it is report card time. Despite all this, and despite the fact that my sons dread going to school most days, they are still A and B students, thanks to hard work and determination, not the administration at this school.
