This is a school with incredible resources, students and potential. And it's an excellent school, but could be so much more if the principal understood what is important. The students' academic and personal growth is important, listening to parents' concerns is important, and equal treatment of all students regardless of race, sex, intelligence level or personal beliefs is also important.
The blue ribbon status, ultimately, is not important. Unfortunately it seems to be all the principal is focused on. He rules the school with an iron fist and creates an atmosphere of fear and intimidation. I am terribly not impressed with his leadership and neither are the students.
