My family absolutely loves this school! They put in a lot of time with their students and teaching them is their top priority. Short mountain elementary is more than just a great school, we really are all a big family /community. I have 2 children that go here and several nieces and nephews that also attend and I Can speak on behalf of friends and family that also live in cannon county if it was not for short mountain school our children would not be going to school in cannon county. We have all said if we had to move to a surrounding county like dekalb or Warren to send our children to school, we would. Thank you Short Mtn staff and family for all that you do for our children !!!
