School Reviews
5 ACES Academy is honestly an amazing alternative school. It's way more one-on-one than the High School and that's such a great thing because that's why most kids fail, because their teachers don't pay enough attention to them one-on-one. There weren't any sports teams but there were basketballs and such provided for us to use at lunch and even during classes, depending on what kinds of activities we were doing that day. At the end of every marking period, we had whole school assemblies where we would all get together and the principal and teachers would hand out awards to well behaved students. Parents were pretty involved, we were allowed to invite them to our special lunches and dinners too! It was really cool. I'm so glad I went to ACES, I really wouldn't have graduated on time if it weren't for ACES. It's such an amazing school and when I have kids and they're going to be going to high school...I am going to tell them about ACES but let them make the decision if they would like to go there or the regular high school. - Posted by Student/Alumni - britt |
5 I attended this instituiton my last year of high school. The staff was awesome and the fellow students were fantastic. There wasnt any sports at all available and that was a major loss in that school, because back than we had some pretty good basketball players including myself! I considered Aces Academy home because I didnt have that in my home atmosphere! Definately would return to teach or even have my own children attend at wonderful Aces Academy! class of 2003 - Posted by Student/Alumni - jkens |
