School Reviews
4 9/27/2022
This is an awesome school, don't let the stats fool you. The principal is amazing and the teachers care. They work with families to get the kids the resources they need and to ensure student success. They work in teams so one teacher can focus on math and the other can focus on reading so the lessons are excellent and the engagement in the classroom is high. They do awesome field trips to places like Wonders of Wildlife, Camp Wakonda, and other cool stuff. The school has a social worker. There is a significant rotating population that moves through the school of kids whose parents get evicted, and this pulls the average down. For the kids whose parents are stable enough to keep them here, this school is where it's at. For anyone on the north side in the Reed-Hillcrest feeder pattern, this is the school to be at. Great support from the Dream Center nearby for families in need.
