School Reviews

  • Recommended June 01, 2012 - im not a full time student im just taking one class to make up a credit it can be confusing but it does have alot of ways to learn and helps me alot :) - Posted by Student/Alumni
  • Recommended November 17, 2009 - Primavera online is such a good school. You can work at your own pace and the six week blocks keep so organized unlike public. I get my work done faster and it's easy but also gives me an challenge. The teachers are great they stay in contact with you and is always there to help. I feel like I get more help from online teachers then regular public teachers. Parents are involved in every way they get the progress reports three weeks into the block then the report card when you finished up the block. Plus, the parents have to log in how much time you spent in school. It's great, fun, exciting, and i love it I would recommend this school to anyone. - Posted by Student/Alumni

Teachers in 19 States Allowed to Physically Punish Students
As of 2014, nineteen states still allow corporal punishment – spanking and paddling the most common choices – in their public schools. However, some argue that not only are these punishments physically harmful, they also are disproportionately administered to students of color. As a result, House democrats have taken up the issue in a new bill that would ban all forms of corporal punishment nationwide.
