Ridgecrest, Calif. - A Burroughs High School student sustained minor injuries when a Sierra Sands Unified School District bus collided with a pick-up truck at the intersection of Highways 14 and 58 Saturday night at 11:50 p.m.

Ridgecrest, Calif. - Sept. 11, 2008, was more than just a day to remember the tragedy of the twin towers in New York. That was the day Katrina Sherwood found out that she had cancer — Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare neuroectodermal family of tumors, which had attacked the C3 to C5 vertebrae in her neck.
