NORTH AUGUSTA --- There was no walk up a muddy hill in summer heat and drinks are no longer allowed in hallways. About the only thing resembling the old Fox Creek High School was the tradition of pizza Wednesdays.

Bill Warnken isn't just praised by his students, but also by faculty. The history teacher received the honor of Teacher of the Year May 12 at a banquet put on by the North Augusta Optimist Club, which was selected by the faculty of Fox Creek High School.
