  • Campus: El Camino High School facilities include: 2-story academic building, 12 "temporary" Bungalows, 1/4 mile dirt track, American football field, Baseball field, Cafeteria with an extended patio, Dance studio, Art and science labs, Large & small gymnasium, Library and Administration Building, Tennis and Basketball Courts, PC and Mac computer labs, Swimming Pool, The Little Theater, Weight room.
  • Curriculum: El Camino High School offers the recommended A-G courses based upon the University of California that illustrates the minimum level of academic preparation students ought to achieve in high school to undertake university level work.
  • Clubs and organizations: El Camino High School is home to the following student clubs and organizations:
  • Christian Youth Club: Maintaining loyalty and respect to family, friends, school and the church, the club concerns with fundraisers and community projects.
  • Ceramics Club: A club where students learn how to glaze, mold and use the wheel. Also, students may have their work displayed in the yearly Art Show.
  • Close Up: The focus is a weeklong government studies program for high school students that take place in Wahshington, D.C.
  • California Scholarship Federation - (CSF): CSF is aimed towards helping students pick their college. Activities include community service and at times a trip to local colleges such as UC Berkeley and Stanford.Colt Society Club: This is a community service based club. Activities include organizing the Blood Drive, Canned Food Drive, and other fund raisers.
  • French Club: Club designed to educate student in French culture.
  • Gay-Straight Alliance: The primary function is to promote tolerance and open-mindedness, to dispel various forms of prejudice, to provide a safe environment for all students, and to promote unity and friendship among all students.
  • Japanime: A club where students meet to discuss and explore Japanese culture.
  • Link Crew: Club directed towards the immersion of El Camino High School to incoming freshmen students.
  • Mock Trials: Club that competes in the regional North San Mateo mock trial competition, along with area high schools Burlingame, Mills, South San Francisco, Terra Nova, and Westmoor. Teams of students are presented with a fictional criminal case, and take on roles as attorneys and witnesses on prosecution and defense teams, to try to argue the case.
  • Multi Cultural Club - (MCC): A club that studies different cultures and encourages students to open their minds up to diversity.
  • Polynesian Club: A club designed to spread Polynesian culture throughout the school as well as the community.
  • "S" Club: The Service Club participates actively in community service.
  • Science Club: Club in charge of recycling and keeping the school beautiful.
  • Spoken Word: Club that desire to create social change through the power of the spoken word art form.
  • Teen Leadership Challenge: Club that encourages students to cheer for sport activities.
  • Weightlifting Club: Club designed to interest those working out and lifting weights.
  • Athletics: El Camino High School also offers a variety of sports, including American football, badminton, baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
