School Reviews

I have no idea why that other review is bad but it - and most of the statistics on this page - are almost ten years old. IHS is a great school. While academics are number one, sports and the arts are also encouraged. The teachers care about these kids. Even though it''s now at almost 2000 students, the administrators take their time to know the kids.
2 6/6/2011
I am very disappointed in this school - beautiful facilities, but it is sports driven and favors a specific religion. Bullying is allowed. Parent involvement is active. Gifted program is a total joke and was more of a hinderance than assistance.
Review Independence High School. Reviews should be a few sentences in length. Please include any comments on:
- Quality of academic programs, teachers, and facilities
- Availability of music, art, sports and other extracurricular activities
