  • Daphne High School is a secondary school located in Daphne, Alabama. DHS, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the Baldwin County Public Schools district. DHS serves the city of Daphne.
  • School band: Daphne High school has one of the best bands not only in the county, but also in the state. With an excellent choice of music, spectacular marching, and the best front ensemble (also known as pit) in the country, The Sound of the Eastern Shore has gained a nice reputation.
  • This years performance is entitled "Faraway Places", and the songs include "Granada Smoothie", "Stairway to Heaven", and "Welcome to Cuba". The show is full of soloists, and the band has already won several awards at the 3 competitions they've attended.
  • School uniform: All Baldwin County Public School students are required to wear school uniforms.
  • Tops consist of White or Navy Blue oxford shirts, polo shirts, or turtlenecks. Bottoms consist of khaki or navy blue trousers, shorts, skirts, dresses, jumpers, or capris. Shoes must be white, brown, or black, and the strings must match the color of the shoes. Only girls may wear dresses, jumpers, or capris.
