Kimberly Mauser and Bianca Temple took top honors at the 2010 Miss Chugiak-Eagle River Scholarship pageant, held Nov. 7 at Chugiak High School. Each has their own title:

The Chugiak High School hockey team made a good showing of themselves, playing Cook Inlet Conference powerhouse Dimond to a 3-3 tie in a season-opening overtime contest at the Ben Boeke Ice Arena Nov. 4.

The Chugiak High School volleyball team played some of its best volleyball of the season, going 3-0 in the Cook Inlet Conference tournament en route to a three-game sweep over South Anchorage, 25-19, 29-27, 25-20, in the title game Saturday at Service High.

Chugiak High School is a public high school located in Chugiak, Alaska. Chugiak's mascot is the mustang, and their colors are blue, black, and white.Currently (September 2007) Chugiak's football team is ranked #1 in its division in the state of Alaska.
Their DDF team also won state in 2008.
In 2005, Chugiak's student population was split as half their students went to the new Eagle River High School.
