Fraternal twins Erin and Martin Lencki hope to join their two older siblings at UF next year. The two 17-year-old Jupiter High School seniors are among a pool of 25,098 freshman applicants this year who applied by Sunday's deadline despite a diminishing admission rate.

Students at Jupiter High School will meet Discovery Education's Chief Environmentalist, conservationist and educator Philippe Cousteau, grandson of marine pioneer Jacques Cousteau, when Phillipe Cousteau visits the North County school for an interactive assembly on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 8 a.m.

Jupiter High School, also known as Jupiter Community High School, is located in Jupiter, Florida, which is in the southern county of Palm Beach.There are over 3000 students enrolled in the school. The school's mascot is the Warrior, and the colors are green and gold.
History
The town of Jupiter was settled in the late 1800s by settlers traveling down the Loxahatchee River. The town was incorporated in 1925, and during the 1930s a two-story school building was constructed for grades 1-12. The bottom level held the lower grades, while the high school classes were held on the upper level.
The campus now known as Jupiter High School was first built west of Military Trail in 1965 for students of the town of Jupiter to attend. Initially the complex housed grades 7-12, with the high school located on the South Campus of the school. As the town's population grew, a middle school—now Jupiter Middle School—was constructed a few miles away, and the high school encompassed both the North and South Campuses.
In June 2001, groundbreaking for a new high school took place. It opened in 2003, costing 56+ million dollars and on August 13, 2003 all students were on one campus for the first time in 20 years. The new high school is on the 12 acres that was once home to the high school stadium, ball fields, tennis courts and practice fields. It is now 338,000-square-feet, housing 60 classrooms and 28 laboratories. The school is wired for computers in every classroom. The auditorium seats 850 and the gymnasium will seat about 1,500 people.
Academics
Jupiter High School is host to a wide variety of Magnet school programs. They include the Jupiter Environmental Research and Field Studies Academy, Engineering Technology Academy, Medical Academy, Culinary Arts Academy, Information Technology Academy, and the new Criminal Justice Academy. The school also offers 16 AP courses, with about 50 total AP classes.
Clubs and extracurricular activities
Jupiter High School is host to over sixty registered student organizations. Many of Jupiter High School's clubs have gone on to compete and win at District, State, and National levels, such as rugby, flag football, debate, and the robotics team.
