Macon police and the Bibb County school system are investigating allegations a middle school principal put his hands around a 12-year-old student’s neck following a verbal fight between two students in a classroom.

The parent of a Bibb County Middle School student alleges a school principal battered her child. According to a Macon Police incident report. The student says that the principal of Appling Middle School pointed his finger at the child, put hands around the student's neck and pushed her into a seat.
