A shoplifting suspect is shot in Centerville Friday, after shooting a Houston County deputy in the finger. Both were taken to the hospital and now the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is on the scene.

A shoplifting suspect shot a Houston County sheriff's deputy in the finger at the Centerville police headquarters Friday afternoon. Warner Robins police say a Centerville officer took the shoplifting suspect to the headquarters, had trouble subduing him and called the sheriff's department for help.
