    The wind knocked down fly balls like an invisible flyswatter during most of Sunday's Kickapoo Valley League title series doubleheader. But with the prize on the line, one player managed to beat Mother Nature.   Kickapoo's Alan Betourne had two home runs in the do-or-die finale, to help give his team a 5-1 win over Manito and a championship three-peat.

    Brody Bernhausen drove in three runs and Brett Rynearson pitched a one-hitter and fanned eight as Manito defeated regular-season champion Kickapoo 4-0 Saturday in the first game of the best-of-three Kickapoo Valley League title series.   Manito scored all the runs it would need in the first inning on back-to-back RBI singles by Bernhausen and Tim Wheat.
