-
Geneva High School first opened in 1922. When it originally opened, it was at the now-vacant Coultrap building at 1113 Peyton Street. The current building was built in 1958 with additions in the 1970s. In 2000, the high school was expanded to its present condition and the much of the building was remodeled as well. Currently, a project to build two big additions and make renovations to the existing building is on hold because of the Economic Situation.
