A school bus driver was ticketed and suspended from his job after a three-bus traffic crash in Buffalo Grove on Friday, Sept. 18. Louis Damus, 41, of Round Lake Beach, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash after a police investigation into the wreck.

A school bus driver received a citation from police and a suspension from his employer last week in connection with a Sept. 18 chain-reaction collision involving three buses with students from Twin Groves Middle School in Buffalo Grove.

A Friday afternoon collision between three buses of Twin Groves Middle School students resulted in 11 people receiving treatment for minor injuries, Buffalo Grove police and fire officials said. Ten students and one bus driver were treated at area hospitals for minor injuries, according to a Buffalo Grove Fire Department statement released Friday evening.
