A service learning grant from the state of Indiana has been awarded to the MSD of Martinsville students to learn and fulfill a community project in the Martinsville community as a service project. Family Service Coordinator Pat Barr wrote the grant.
Perennials needed for YMCA/Poston Road garden (Reporter-Times)

Attention gardeners: elementary students need your perennial starts next week to build a flower garden at the Barbara B. Jordan YMCA. Poston Road Elementary School in Martinsville has received a mini-grant from the Learn and Serve Indiana fund to build a perennial arts garden at the YMCA.
