    The new spring ISTEP-Plus exam challenged students across the state, which was evident by a slight decrease in the number of students passing the test. The Indiana Department of Education released scores on Wednesday, and it was a mixed bag for local schools. Because the test is new, it doesn't invite direct comparison with previous years.
